I've been waiting for this for most of my 68 years. When they win it, guess I'll paint my '67 shorty burnt orange.

I am not a fan of baseball. Particularly MLB. I have attended ONE game in my life. Back in 73 or so I was a kid & we got to see the Astros in the Astrodome. I got a little orange piggy bank shaped like a batter's helmet, a pennant AND a little wooded bat that was maybe 12" long. All I remember was how HUGE that building was, how high the ceiling was. I couldn't even tell you who they played or if they won. My dad probably remembers.
But since they're in it: Go Astros!!

Houston gained quite few things back then: the Astros, Houston Oilers, the Astrodome, NASA mission control

IIRC part of the astrodome tour was, "wind speed is 1 mph, from the N, S, E and W."
