Wow!!! No pun intended...That hits closer to home than I thought. I forget the community is scattered all over the states and farther. I do hope all is well.

I work with someone who just came back from that area of town, having to rescue his mom - unreal. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and for all those affected.

I've been without internet/ cable and intermittent power for the past 3 days, so just now checking in. All good at the Schmidt house. We live in an older 1930's house and neighborhood that the original developers picked because site is the highest point in north Houston. Blessed that we and all of my Family members who live all around Houston did not flood. Many of my sub-contractors were not as lucky, several had water to their roofs. Lived here all my life and have never seen such devastation. Talking 100,000 + homes flooded. Thanks for your concern. :Thumbsup

glad you're ok. Yes I imagine internet/phone are down everywhere. Many have no power or potable water, assuming they have a unharmed structure to live in to begin with.

Good to hear you and your family are okay. Now, Florida and the south east are bracing for Hurricane Irma. We are more than likely going to have tropical storm conditions here. Hoping for the best.
