Crew Cabs...What $$ are they going for these days???

Post by dalbone »

Hey folks!

I have my eye on a 1962 Power Wagon D200 Crew Cab but I can't seem to find any good info on what these things are going for?

Typical condition, fairly solid throughout but with some rust in the usual places. This one in particular has a non-running 360 that someone swapped in. It will need a fair amount of work to get it into running/driving condition.

$3k-$5k?

D200 means 2wd, so cant be a Power Wagon (W200 = 4x4)

I paid $500 for a running 70 W200 with a 383, NP 445 and zero for a running 63 D200 with a 413, NP420.

Gotta be running, driving, registered, clean title and decent sheetmetal to be $3k.

A D200 denotes a 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive Sweptline. Is your truck a D200
Crew Cab or a W200 Power Wagon Crew Cab? What is the wheel base?
Photos would help as well. If a 360 was swapped in and this is still a 4spd
tranny Sweptline, you'd need to find out if the flywheel in it is properly balanced
for the 360. Maybe its "non-running" because it shook itself apart? :thinking
When is the last time it was run? Without photos.... its kind of tough to pinpoint
a value for you. :thinking :2cents

I'll take as many as you can get at that price. I'm seeing them go for $2500 or so for an un-titled roller. And not just one either. I'm seeing titled non running crew powerwagons go for $4k and up. Almost any crew cab under $3k is worth it nowadays. They're hot right now

The kicker on this truck would be that it's a Power Wagon. In my opinion that almost doubles the price over a D-200. Without pictures it's hard to place a value on something. The 3-5 price range seems reasonable, but depends on how long it's been off the road..
