68 charger + cuda just sitting here forever.

This 68 charger has been sitting on this property for over 30 years. It used to be parked in front of the house outside of the fence, right at the street's edge. I guess the owner got tired of doorknockers so it got moved to the back yard maybe 8-10 years ago. The Cuda & other Charger have been in the back yard the whole time. Seems like there was once a Duster back there too.

I once stopped by & scribbled down the VIN (when it was parked out by the street). It is a 383 car, auto IIRC.

The owner of the house is a 60 yr old man. I don't know if the cars are his too or the story behind them. In my only encounter with a woman there "NOT FOR SALE" is all I recall.

My cousin is like that with his 1970 Charger... 383 Auto.... but he won't sell because "he's gonna fix 'er up". Yeah... right! AND he is a close cousin too! Oh well, somebody will fix it up at some point. TONS of those cars "abandoned" and NOT FOR SALE. :pale Shame :shame

This one has been out in the weather since the mid-80's. At last look it was very restorable.

So "was" my cousins... but it's been under a tarp, and last I saw it up close, it had it's "ISSUES". But, so did all those MOPARS from that vintage. (Shakes head in disgust)

Looks like a 70 Barracuda? OR maybe 71? The other Charger a 71 or 72? I was GOING to ask about the convertible in the back ground before I realized it's a boat!

I would say 72-74 on the charger based on side marker lights, 71 was different.... It has those little rubber push bumper things on the front (not shown in this pic).

Cuda has round tailights (again not shown clearly here). So I'd also say 72-74. I don't know my E bodys very well.

The Cuda pic is kind of blurry so i didn't see the round tail lights. Yeah, I know that those were used in the later 72+ years. Ah well... hopefully someday he will let them go to someone that cares. Why are people like this? I know a guy with probably... 25+ motorcycles. All anitques, Indians, BMWs, Vespas, Harleys, etc and I think only a few will run. Not to mention his collection of antique bicycles. Yet... NO SALE. He is probably in his mid/late 60s
