guy on facebook was selling a set of poly headers for what i thought was a good price so i grabbed them.. they just showed up at the door a few minutes ago..:)

come spring i'll put these on and get the ugly exhaust redone gonna have to decide what mufflers i want now..,then install the 4bbl intake and probably a holley 600. hopefully it will wake it up come..:)

Being all tubes down the middle they look like they might fit too. Are they made for a Swepty? Sure look nice especially those ball flange collectors.

they are stans headers i believe..

Good project! Ive had an LD4B intake on the shelf for a few years now but so far it ain't broke so i'm not fixing it! Let us know how it goes!

They look like Norm Layton's DTA Headers to me....

Norm developed those specifically to fit the Sweptlines, all models IIRC. Now sold by Stans.

thats what i've heard.. mine look to have a date of 4/07 on them so not sure who made them.. they are the 3182 which are supposed to fit trucks with a pto too.. these will be going on my 2wd truck.

If I recall correctly, the DTA Headers were designed to fit Sweptlines that were equipped with
the A318 [D & W Versions] as well as Power Giant Era trucks. :thinking

Yep those are made by stans hearders. that's who Norm had build them. One of my trucks was used for test fitting. I brought my 65 D300 up and left it there and a guy from eastern wa brought a FFPW with poly so they will fit hose too. also PG trucks as well. Stans are the highest quality. everything is thick and well made. I was in the exhaust biz back in the day and installed lots of brands of headers. stans were the best by a long shot. made in WA :salut USA!

I have a set on one of my Polys. :Thumbsup I completely agree that they're the best
made header out there. :clap
