Hello,
Conrad in Austin - I am hoping to become a fellow Sweptline owner. I recently sold my '74 Scamp 318 project (a sad day, originally my son's project which became mine) and am wanting a Sweptline short bed (like everyone and their dog). I am challenged by 'finding the right one' - as I'm more of an era-correct hot rodder type. Although I have found a few nice trucks, they are way above my pay grade. My goal is to find and build a work truck that can show up at the Top Notch (our local In n Out), get dirty, pull my VW projects to shows and to Bonneville.
Thanks,
Conrad

Re: Intro and interested in a truck in Phoenix
As it turns out, more rust than I assumed for a Phoenix truck. So have to pass on the nice one I found. There is a '65 (early) here in Austin that I am going to look at over the weekend.

Re: Intro
Welcome from another Texan. I'm just a few hours West of you in San angelo. I passed through they're this weekend. Lemme know what you're looking for. I've got a 61 swb and I'm picking up a 64 swb ute tonight. Think I've already got interest in those though. Although i do know where there is a 71 short bed sweptline and a 68 short ute here locally. Lemme know and I'll look in to them.
