Re: latest addition
Bill,
That's a real nice looking rig! Is it full time 4WD or are those
lock-outs on the front?

Re: latest addition
John, this is a first for me, I don't think I have ever seen one without lockouts until this one.

Re: latest addition
Well, first thing to do is put lockouts on it!
17,000 miles is almost new, except that's a hella lot of miles on the front drive train!

John,
I'm learning as I go, but what all is involved in putting lockouts on something that doesn't have them

Buy them, bolt them on. Real simple.

As Terry posted. Depending on the type of lock-out you go with, you
might need longer bolts to make it into the wheel hub though.

If you're after some period correct ['69/'71] lock-outs, post up an ad in
Parts Wanted. I'd do the same on Norm's site and also the PWA site.
If you're up for aftermarket.... I believe Mile Marker makes some that
will work.

These are the hubs {M166} that came stock on my 70. There might be other Warn model numbers that were used also.

Re: latest addition
Before buying lock-outs I'd make sure the truck still has the original front axle, although I don't know why it wouldn't be.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. don't plan on putting many miles on this truck but it should probably have the lock outs anyway
