I met him once at the MOPAR NATS in Ohio.... seemed like a very nice guy! We talked for quite a while! He also remembered me as I sold him one of my Restoration CD's.

Terry owns 5 HPP trucks. The 3 listed above and 2 others.

Terry was a good friend of mine and his passing is quite a loss to our community.

That's too bad about Terry. Back when I had my '67 CSS, I talked to him about his one time. Lots of knowledge there!

I'm sorry to hear the news of his death. I read his obit and he definitely accomplished a lot in his life. R.I.P. Dr. Winkler, the Mopar world has lost a good man.

Very sad news. Dr Winkler had a lot more vision than most of the other collectors out there. I salute him for giving the Sweptline community a lot of positive press and bringing back these beautiful trucks. I can't believe it has been over 20 years since I took the photos of the HPP at R&R Salvage in Missouri. It was a sad visit as Ron Slobe had passed a little earlier. Interestingly I bought a 1971 EV2 Road Runner from Utah years later and couldn't get over the fact that it seemed familiar somehow. Turns out I took photos of it at R&R back in 1993....

RIP Dr Winkler :usa
