a good rambler day

i just got off the phone with the man who owned my new toy before it was donated to the car club i bought it from. he has confirmed that he does have the original twin stick 3 spd over drive tranny, all the wireing and soleniods that go with it, the original center console, and the original set of full (440h specific) wheel covers. and, he has agreed to sell them to me. he was gonna use them on another amc hes building, but has decided against it, so now hes willing to let me have them to help in getting the car back on the road the way it should be. then to add to that, he hooked me up with a guy in oregon who has a hood for the car, supposedly in good shape. guess we will see. man what a score, tonight has been a very successfull night on the rambler playing fields. anybody live in oregon that wouldnt mind being my eyes on the hoods condition???
