Light duty rear bumper alternative = results
Light duty rear bumper alternative = results
Thanks, and props going out to forum member "TexasTwoStep" for posting his suggestion and source for an affordable alternative for a 69 -71 light duty rear bumper in this thread viewtopic.php?f=30&t=29249
After reading this, I picked up a bumper off ebay for just under $200 = shipped!!! I then took a few measurements , and mocked up some templates out of cardboard = in order to create a pair of brackets to mate the bumper to my D100. I used 2 X 2" wide by 3" long strip of 3/16 steel and one 2"" wide by 3" long strip of 3/16 [ channel steel that I picked up at Home Depot, and fabricated and welded up an easy set of brackets = I am thrilled with the results, and my wallet is @ $800 thicker, now that Ididn'tt have to pay for, and search out the very hard to find OEM bumper!!! any way here are a few pics !!!

@seff - No one reproduces the Dodge bumper, and there are far fewer of them. Supply and demand.
