I live in a hot rod neighborhood. Just about everyone out here has some sort of classic car project going on. I received THREE calls tonight from neighbors about this truck on TV. I was at my daughters basketball game. Kinda funny, they all knew who to call!!
I have seen this truck somewhere before... I remember the stripe.

I was at the Auction yesterday. I didn't get to see it go across the block though, but it was a nice truck. There was also a 70 Swepty utiline that sold for $5000.
Re: Mecum Auctions, KC 12-1-11
Thats good to hear someone got a utiline cheap :)

The utiline wasn't bad. It looked to be an older restoration. Still a good deal at $5000 for a driver.

I saw the Rampage go across the block when I was there. I think it went for $2800 but I'm not for sure. My grandfather also really liked it but he wasn't registered to buy. We are all going again in the spring.

The other 1970 D100 that was at Mecum has popped up on Craigslist in St. Joseph, MO for just under $8000. It sold at Mecum for $5000 and it's being flipped by Siemer Auto Clinic in St. Joseph.

That truck has been for sale for a few months now. They've had it listed on Des Moines CL too. It was originally listed for more than $8000. Are you sure it sold at auction?MOPAR70 wrote:The other 1970 D100 that was at Mecum has popped up on Craigslist in St. Joseph, MO for just under $8000. Yeah you have to give them your email address before viewing prices. I should've mentioned that earlier.
