Hey Terry
Tell the story about how you remember riding in your dad's brand new '69 Swept when you were only 2 yrs old.

I'm not exactly sure when you posted this because I have not set my forum time correctly. Are you saying the 61s came out in early February, like the 3rd? I would have to go back and look but it seems a bit late for 61 models.PwrWgnDrvr wrote:Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere....

I been waiting since Sep and nobody has said anything, so I posted it now, before the year is over and its too late.
Guys are always referring to "40 yr old trucks", but some are now 50!

I think 50th Anniversary would be more appropriate because the birthday might not be known.Hobcobble wrote:Maybe Terry is just referring to the calendarsoopernaut wrote:I'm not exactly sure when you posted this because I have not set my forum time correctly. October of 1960 was when the sweptline era Sweptlines went on sale.

Yup, that's why so many uninformed neophytes will claim their 1961 Swept to be a 1960 - because their DMV titled it in Oct-Dec 1960....etc
