Need some photos of Grills
Hey I am thinking about a cool project and am needing some pictures of the front grills of the Sweptlines. I need all the years. If anyone can take some pics and post them that would be awesome.
I need straight on centered good shots of the grills. The better the pic the better the project ;)
It pretty much something that if it works.... we well all enjoy.
Thanks....
-Scott

Re: Need some photos of Grills
I don't have access to all my pics until the end of the week. You could try poking around over on sweptline.com I know he used to have a "spotters guide" section I believe it was, with a bunch of pictures. Hope that helps.

Re: Need some photos of Grills
I was thinking of asking the same question.....reason... a web site called ...highoctanejewelry.com... can make rings that show front of cars and trucks, maybe can do our trucks so we could wear on our fingers.

Re: Need some photos of Grills
Thanks for the link.
I was able to grab a couple pics from there.
I really need though is some nice grills... up close and squared in the picture. The angle shots wont work. I will keep digging, but still if you have time feel free to post them.
Thanks

Re: Need some photos of Grills
This is as about a level and straight on shot as I can get without a tri-pod.
I'm curious as to the " I've got a plan" you've got going on?
Let us know how it turns out?
Hope this photo helps with your quest!

Re: Need some photos of Grills
Here is a photo of the grill on my 1965 Sweptline. Hope this is what you are looking for.
I love this grill style, and it helped me make the decision to search for a Sweptline with this grill

Re: Need some photos of Grills
If it is going to be used for any kind of reference it would be good to have the correct color parking lights and grille inserts for the year represented.440Venturer wrote:soopernaut wrote:http://sweptline.org/forums/viewtopic.p ... le#p147791

Re: Need some photos of Grills
Thanks for all the great photos. It's really neat being apart of the sweptline community, all these front ends are truly classic.
