actually, his name was tallstack. he has sold his truck, and had to move with his mother someplace for family reasons. you are right he seemed like a nice kid , just had some problems. to bad he hads to sell his truck. it seemed to give him a direction in life, and the guys here were super to him. I think he really appreciated it. maybe he might come back and visit the site, and maybe find another truck. Ozzie.

Wasn't he the one who's grandpa would sit out & help him with the truck, up in Idaho maybe? I seem to remember the truck having a flatbed on it. :thinking

He got all bent out of shape because someone suggested he wasn't who he said he was. Who knows?

He contacted me since he lives in a neighboring town and wanted to get together. As I recall, before I got any response, he sold his truck. Sadly, I haven't seen it around at all. I think he was getting peer pressure from some jacka** at school with a Frod truck. I remember he posted something about the kid wanted to race or have a pull-off. Since I never did get any other contact info, I don't know where or how to help. But I wonder about him from time to time. :thinking

That is what he wrote in his craigslist ad when he sold the truck. It was some kind of family emergency and he couldn't take his truck with him.

With a truck like that, I'd have suggested to use it to move with just so I could keep it if I were him. Though they could have needed the cash from the sale to make the trip too I suppose. :thinking

I tried to find him on Facebook a while back, and searched the email he used to email me. He told me via email that he wouldn't come back if no-one believed he was 16 until he could meet a member in person. He also said his Mom had to go to Denver for cancer treatment, hence the truck had to be sold.
Who knows?
I tend to believe him and I hope he's doing well.

Maybe one day he will come back. He was a good kid with lots of learning to do and lots of potential. I may only be 19 but he reminded me of when i got my first swepty. Everybody and their brother tried to challenge it. I told them all it may not be fast but it will pull any stump that you point to out of the ground.

I had no reason to doubt he was 16. He seemed like a good kid from the short time I read his posts. I tried to give him advice a few times. We've all been 16 and wanting to learn at some point.

spoke with him a few time outside of this forum. trying to help him get the poly worked out. im not sure who doubted who he was, but i never saw any reason to doubt him or his honesty. sorry to hear his truck had to be sold, but im betting he had really good reasoning to do so. im sure he will be back around when life calms down. had the potential to be a real solid member of the community.

He seemed like a good kid to me. I liked the fact that he was proud of his heritage and was influenced by the elders of his family. He seemed to have a good head on his shoulders, and it is nice to see young people showing an interest in our old Dodges for sure. Hope that everything works out good for him.

Too bad he didn't get in touch with any of the people here in Colorado, if thats where they had to move, but the good news is that more than likely someone in his neighborhood has a Sweptline and he'll have all kinds of opportunity's to get one here. I could have given him alot of work to do to help him learn also :pale

I remember him from when I first got on here. Seemed like a decent kid to me, really got to respect a someone that young that thinks of working to buy a truck instead of sitting around playing video games all day. Hope he's doing well.
