whats my truck worth.........

Post by wideblock »

i am about to put a stated value policy on my crew. so i need some opinions on what an accurate value would be. stated value policy is simple, i say its worth this much, and pay my premium according to the stated value. if anything happens to the truck that is considered a total, they pay off what i said it was worth. so heres the details:
1969 d200 crew cab short bed, no rust, no dents, seats reupholstered, super clean interior, rebuilt 360 2bbl, np435 4spd, 4.10 dana 60, dual saddle tanks plus cab tank, fully electric tank switching system, wired for trailer brakes, wired for battery isolater to charge camp trailer, a/c, cruise control, am/fm 8 track player, mostly original truck (dash, floor matt, sheet metal, etc), garage kept its whole life, 160k original miles, repainted in 89, grill chromed in 89, front bumper chromed in 89, paint/chrome still in great shape. thats pretty much the basics. a few of you have seen the truck in person, ill post a pic for those of you who havent. im just not sure what replacement value would be. i know ill never find another in this good of shape, but i was curious if any of you guys could possibly clue me in on what it took money wise to get your trucks to this condition. i want to make sure i can cover replacement value, but i dont want to go too over board and wind up paying a huge premium either. thanks in advance for any advice.

P.S. theres a few more pics of the interior and body at my webshots link in the crew cab folder if you need to be more informed on the condition of the truck. :Thumbsup

nada says $12,548. sounds great to me. just wondering about real world prices versus what the book says.
