Anyone see TLC tonight? (Tuesday, November 23)

Post by 1966D100 »

I was watching TLC and they had the repeat of the Hot Rod Power tour. And in when they arive at Rick Kirks (KR Machine i think), when they look around, i thought i saw a light blue, possibly freshly restored pie plate truck. Anyone else see what i saw? Or are my eye's going?

Does anyone have anymore photos of that blue truck to post. I'd like to know what tire/wheel combo and suspension stuff he did. It's a beautiful truck!

his truck was featured in MoparMuscle a few issues ago - Brian explained what wheels he used on it in the article. his front end is out of a corvette and the rear is a link setup of some sort if memory serves...

:Thumbsup Thats exactly right! he took the upper control arms and lower control arms off a corvette, then he did it the simple way, welded the mount for the upper control arm to OUR EXISTING frame, then for the lower he made his own cross member and attached the lower control arm, he uses coil over shocks and the upper shock mount is welded TO THE EXISTING SWEPTLINE FRAME! for steering he used the rack from a thunderbird, WALLA IFS made easy!!!!!! :goodpost :salut :Thumbsup
