Wow.,just browsing and came across my old orange truck ..the yellow truck might be road worthy soon..I sold the orange one years ago not sure where it ended up...and yes I cut the Dakota in half and used the parts for another build ..it became the venom Toyota with Shaun Carlson..alot of red tape with dodge and the Dakota

Also..the orange truck was my Dailey driver..rain or shine..I drove it for 6 months straight everyday..I developed a oil system for the b1 heads so the rockers wouldn't roast and burn the pushrods...it got 12 mpg..the engine was 565 inches billet caps and Honda size rods small base circle cam..the article was a little off

... did you have door windows in it for the rain?
I have often wondered over the years about that orange truck with the vent windows removed... sure looks good.

I had takin it apart a few days before to put new felt in it and powder coat the frame..I alose had new fender badges but didn't have time to install for the shoot..
I'm doing another one rt now and making one piece windows for it .I will try and log on here and answer any questions if I can remember most of it..lol..Dave Watson's father Bill Watson R.I.P was the influence and reason I built this truck and Dave had been getting the yellow one back together..thank you guys for the interest
