Sweptline's in Truckin Magazine

Post by dirtrider »

Anyone ever seen the November 1991 issue of Truckin'? It has two tricked out Sweptline's on the cover. I'm moving, and while packing I came across this issue. Hadn't seen it in years!

I have the whole article scanned if anyone is interested in the rest.

Yes,
I've seen and read the article, the Orange one has a tube frame and Mustang II front end. This is the first known Mustang II change in a Sweptline :Thumbsup

Hahaa... I bought that magazine in high school. I remember it like it was yesterday... a buddy of mine pointed at the girl on the front and in his best valley girl voice said... "Like that's why the truck isn't running, there's no hood so the engine is cold."

still cracks me up...

Not funny, I did that adjusting the timing on the Challenger one day, she looks like I felt now that you say it John.

Sorry for the long wait. As I mentioned above I'm moving to a new house and I've been extremely busy. Hopefully these will be readable.

Wow! I've been looking for that article for years! Thank you for posting it!
I bought that article when it came out, but for the life of me I haven't a clue to where it went!

Strangely, I know for a fact that this magazine came out in Canada before 1989.
I bought it BEFORE I bought my first Sweptline in 1988. It was what motivated me to buy the truck in the first place!

Am I full of "it"? Maybe!
