Yeah I went to Goldie's picnic last year but he hasn't said anything yet this year. Either way, give me a shout (pm sent). I'll be there all weekend. Always look forward to meeting fellow sweptliners. :Thumbsup

I haven't been on the site as much lately as I would like. Pressures of life I guess.

As for a gathering at my place during the Nats, I have not said much as I am not sure how much time I can devote to it this year. Those of you who have been here know I tend to go overboard a bit. There is no reason we can't get together though, even if it's just burgers on the grill and a few lies/stories. I have lots of room and plenty of evening time. If you will be here, just let me know so I can lay in some extra squirrel and possum. We should probably shoot for Sat. but you can come over anytime really. I can't say how many trucks will be here either, Ben was the Honcho that made that happen. HPP and CSS trucks all over the place. My truck is not done either, so don't let that stop you from comming over. We can drive my 1 ton stakebed around in the yard if we need a fix.

I usually make some sides, tater salad, baked beans, etc. That is not a lot of effort. The real effort is the set up and tear down. Bab's won't let me half @#% it. Everything has to be just so for company. After 40 yrs, I don't argue much, I just do it. If you all don't mind it low key I'm ok with the cooking part. :Thumbsup

My Beautiful wife makes an awsome tater salad. :Thumbsup I'll try to talk her into making a large batch. This is the first year for her to come with me. I told her about the Eaton or Easton mall that is fairly close. I think she will have a good time there LOL. I plan on ariving Thursday. If you wish, I can help set up and tear down also.

Yeah, that 'mall' is called Easton. Mostly financed and spearheaded by Les Wexner, owner of the limited brands, Abercrombe and Finch, Bath Body and beyond, etc., etc. He has way too much money and never is involved with anything that isn't over the top.
If you are coming in a bit early I could use a bit of help for sure. When you get to town just give me a call and we will work out the details and timetable. 614-893-2060

Yes John, the air is on. I have a good friend who builds transmissions on the side who is set up in the middle section of the garage. He is a Mopar racer and loves anything Chrysler. Any tranny problems during the Nats will be covered.

I hope you can make it.
