We are heading state side!
Ok, in a week from now I will be in Salt Lake City. My plan is to stay there for one night first and then go north to Teton, Idaho to check out the green 65 D100 that I have posted about earlier. Our plane back again is from Denver, Colorado on May 7th. Where we will go and what we will see in the meantime is not yet decided and I'm open for sugestions.

Yes, we have 13 days to see stuff. The first few days will be spent checking out the 65 D100 and hopefully striking a deal on it. I have already arranged for a hire car and we plan on driving about. It is me and the wife, it is sort of our honeymoon (we got married last year after having been together for ten years) so I can't really plan to do all that much car related stuff but hopefully I can manage to see maybe a museum or two and I hope to get a daytrip to go and see the Bonneville saltflats.

You're about 200 miles from Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
That's one of the best national parks in the U.S..
There's also Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks in Utah, south
of Salt Lake City. You couldn't be in a much better location in
terms of beautiful scenery. A couple of days of Sweptlines and
I'll bet your wife will be more than ready to see some sights.

Thank you very much for the advice. Sadly it looks as we are bringing the bad norwegian weather with us, sorry for that ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
