Thumbs Up!!!!

Post by wedgehead »

Great fall day 65 degrees sunny couldn't wait to get off work and go for a ride. :dance Truck fired right up running great. I was about 2 blocks from home guy in his 40s honked smiled and gave me :Thumbsup This continued to happen another guy, a lady in her 30s , a teenager screaming DO A BURNOUT and the most surprising a cute blond in early 20s. She kind of scared me, she was coming at me actually hanging out window while driving giving me :Thumbsup yelling she wanted a ride. I hope my wife dosen't read this thread I will never be allowed out alone again . Don't know if it was the shiny paint ,the rumble of a 600hp BB or the fact that it Sweptlines are COOL but it feels good to get noticed.

Super SHARP truck....gives me some ideas for my 68 I'm starting on...wondering though,is there any flex in the box sides without the tailgate on? Had an old guy tell he use to own a swepty truck years ago and used it on his farm and ran without a tailgate and the box sides literally cracked and fell off.Course he probable hauled some hay too but then with 600 hp you probable haul too  .............pat
