lets say I happened upon a pre 67 truck. how much of a pain in the arse is it if I wanted to swap in a LA block, or a Big Block?

So, im just curious, is there any little thing I should look out for with any certain year trucks? Or is there something that urks you about a particular year? Thanks so much for the resonses. I am definitely serious on findinf a truck. I recently passed on 66patricks white 68 from Okc due to lack in a good shipping price. Bt, the more time passes, the more money i save. So, I am destined to get something. One sold from here in Md (Silver Spring) for $3500...
