Re: Replacing Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge Hose (68 D200 31
Also the hoses being sold on ebay have the incorrect fitting for the gauge. I tried to explain it to them, but they refuse to accept it. So buyer beware, they do leak. Thanks for that info. And dont buy the "new" fuel sending units or you will wish you hadnt. Still waiting on that call from their "...

I have a 75 W600 with an in-cab tank. Either my sending unit is bad or my float has a hole in it. I haven't removed to investigate. How different are the sending units from the Sweptline in-cab tanks vs the Lifestyle in-cab tanks? I suspect only the float arm is different. I have been hesitant to o...

My original was rusted beyond repair, I think. It was a mess. I just hope I am done with them for a while but I cant tha...

I was told the only reproductions available are poorly made and the way the wiring inside is flawed.
If you need one and yours is beyond reuse I would buy a good used one.

Thanks to a member, my temp and fuel gauge problem is fixed
I made a post the other day about my fuel and temp gauge going fully to the right. I was contacted by powerwagon54 who asked me if the sending unit I put in was new. I said yes. He said that's your problem, those units are not good. This was a BRAND NEW fuel sending unit from a parts dealer. We talk...

Re: Temp and fuel gauge go fully to right (Hot and full)
RTE limiter IVR3 or 4 but you still have to install it in a vehicle that never had one externally mounted. I'm getting ready to buy one for my 71. Made the one with transistors and it worked fine. Gauges were a little slow but it worked. It also recently stopped working. RTE allows for between 9V a...

Temp and fuel gauge go fully to right (Hot and full)
Ok, so I know this Isnt an uncommon problem. I have read as many of the posts as I could find here. It is a 1968 Dodge D200. However, I need someone to explain this to me in slow and preferably first grade terms as electrical has always been my weak point. I see that someone of you made a voltage li...

With the originals and the later model replacements. The truck will eventually be blue so the wheels will look better with that color.

Re: Champion vs. U.S. Radiators
This isn't about Dodge but it is about the aluminum radiators so I will throw it out there. I have a 59 Ford Custom 300. The stock radiator was in bad shape when I got it so I looked into aluminum. I found one from a dealer who was gonna be at a car show about 3 hours from my house. So instead of pa...
