It appears that that truck may be a 1973 and not a 1971. I've never seen a label like that on a 1961-1971 truck. That A/C may have been a later option, a medium duty truck option or it may be special equipment. If you look at the bottom of the label it says that special equipment has a 6 digit code,...

My 70 was originally light Green and was repainted Burgundy, but all those other areas you mention were painted Black. Burgundy and Green don't go together.

The Dana 70 was common, but most do not have 6 wheel lugs. I don't know if the dually axle uses different brakes than a non dually. I do not suspect that much changes over from the 8 lug axle to the 6, but I actually have no idea. PwrWgnDrvr probably has more information pertaining to that.

Dodge started building them for the 1963 model year and I think they started around August of 1962. Dodge only built crew cabs with short beds until 1969, so any long bed crew cabs prior to 1969 will also have frame modifications.

If you are looking for parts closer to you, Doug's 4-Wheelers in Pella Iowa would have all the parts. He might not have any parts in perfect condition, but you could look in person.

It will also help to look for a seal for a 61-67 truck, since all 68 trucks had large rear windows.

The HAXXX SERTs listed above are from 1971 trucks. There is also a HA8032 from 1970 that is just labeled "Cooling". 17385 listed above was from a 1969 truck.

I have SERT numbers and descriptions where they did refer to heavy duty cooling. One of them is a 173XX number and the others are from newer trucks. It all depends on what someone typed to be put on the sticker/plate. They even forgot the i in the last one. 17385 H/D COOL I(or Cool 1) HA8033 HD Cool...

In 1970, you could get an optional automatic transmission in a W200. In 1969 you could not.
