Re: 745 to 435
Part of the issue is that the 23 spline disc will not work with the hydraulic clutch pressure plate. You cannot use a mechanical clutch pressure plate on a hydraulic clutch truck to my knowledge. The throw out bearings for 10 & 23 spline trannys are different too. Unless others know a way around it....

Re: Winch & Bumper with Braden FTD-7
Hello everyone this is my first post on this site. I have more of a general question for those experienced with the factory winches. An older gentleman that I know is selling the lu-2 winch, winch bumper plus brackets, and the Braden ftd-7 pto with driveshafts. This brings me to my question, should...

Re: First gear grinding
Ya, im stepping on the pedal. I hope I didnt break any teeth off my flywheel!! I dont have a shop manual yet, if there a write up or video on how to adjust the clutch? Your flywheel teeth are what the starter use..... so they aren't involved in your grinding problem. As Terry pointed out, you might...

Re: Front Drums Not Spinning
All I am hoping someone has seen this problem before. My front drums will not spin when the lock nut is tightened. It is like the bearing is going back to far on the spindle and the back of the hub is contacting the back plate. The hubs only spin when the lock bolt is so loose the the hub can move ...

Re: Tire and rim sizes that will fit my 66 D200
Hello... I’m currently doing kingpins and a disc brake conversion kit on a 1966 Dodge D200. I’m trying to get away from the 16.5 inch wheels. I’m curious to see if 17s or 18s fit...between the size of the tires, the offset of the wheels and the fender braces. What will feasibly fit? Thanks in advan...

Re: need input.
The A/LA 318 will drop right in with the correct engine mount brackets and rubber insulators. You'll need the correct hydraulic clutch flywheel for it along with the clutch components. You will also need the proper radiator. The engine portion of your wiring harness "can" be used but you might be ab...

Glad to see you came out of the shadows. There are plenty of helpful people
on the site. Sorry to hear of the death in your family. Most all of us have been through
it. Sounds like you'll be able to whip the truck back into shape without a lot of difficulty.

Russ was a great guy. We met up with some Sweptline guys several years ago in the WA / OR region. Russ and Jeff Clare gave my wife & I a nice driving tour of the Columbia River region. Russ was a big time fisherman. He was also a Vietnam Combat Veteran [Medic] and shared some hairy moments of his ti...

Re: Dodge STS sport truck series
This was an option in 67 or 68. Mostly trim BUT was available with engine selection 225-426 Hemi. I remember seeing an article on it, but cannot find it. Some of the options included were Monoco bucket seats and Dart GTS console. I saw this article 16-17 years ago. I was just wondering if anyone el...

Re: 64 D100 Short Bed
Just purchased a 64 D100 Short Bed. Great body and frame. I little rot on the floors and a tiny bit at bottom of doors. Inline 6, not operable. Trying to figure out what to do with it. Resto or sell. What is this truck worth? Had a guy offer $8K. I am pretty sure this was a US ARMY pickup. It has a...
