Upside down. Ive transported more than one box that way. Can be done sitting on top of a pickup box with a couple boards with stop blocks to stop shifting when tied down.

Set screw in side. Light switch has a hidden button on switch behind dash. Some disconnect cable from heater etc and pull through holding bracket.
Have to figure out removal for each item.

Re: Hydraulic clutch parts replacement
I'm currently in the process of replacing the master and slave cylinders on my 1965 D100. It so far seems pretty straight forward. Are there any pratfalls I should be aware of? For instance, the reproduction service manual I have indicates the clutch pedal spring should be removed. Is it really nec...

Re: Wiring inside of steering column - '61 D100
Good day, I'm replacing all of my wiring and wondering if there is a convenient way recommended for removing the current wiring bundle, and then inserting a new bundle. I really want to change them up, but I don't want to remove the shaft. Thank you! Pull the wires out but tie a strong string to th...

Re: Upper bearing housing screws
Its not clear what exactly you are referring to. :thinking He's talking about upper coller the shifter arm sticks out of where the 2 screws you loosen to remove coller from column. Ones basically under turn signal switch. He removed screws entirely dropping square nuts into column and can't figure ...

Re: Big Block Flywheel Question
I installed a Car 400 BB into my 70 D500. Bellhousing was from a 67/68 Dodge pickup.. Flywheel was from the LA 318 that came from the D500. BB Starter From a 413 Industrial from a 73/74 C series truck. Starter was a core so snout was installed onto a 318 Hydraulic bell starter. Everything worked.

Re: Clutch question
Yes it will work. Just Hydraulic bellhousing/starter is different. I would have no issues bolting the 318 flywheel to a 383 using same clutch. Did a low budget 68 440 instal in my 66 back in early 76 and used 318 flywheel/clutch assembly.

Re: Cracked Engine Block
It appears I have a slow coolant leak coming through a crack in the block a couple of inches above where the oil pan bolts on. It’s on a 67 318. What would y’all do? Put some brand of crack repair in the oil? Jeff Got to ask. Why would you put crack repair in oil if its leaking coolant. :thinking
