thanks for the replies,apparently it was gunk build up,,,,,flush it out and the water started flowing.
now if i dont run into many more gremlins i might be able to start driving it.

hi all, i am working on a '67 A-100,318.it was over heating,so i had the radiator recored,new water pump and thermastat.it still over heated,,,,come to find out it had a reverse rotation flex fan on it.anyhow,now to the next problem,Im not getting hot water to the heater core.the control valve is op...

hi all, just brought home a '67 A-100,318/727.it runs and drives and stops,but it does have some bugs to be worked out. it has a edelbrock manifold and 4v holley. i was just wondering if anyone has modified their throttle linkage (changed to a cable).if so,how do i go about it? pictures would be gre...

thanks for the reply MMR. mine is the 1406 elec.choke.,,,supposedly it came from the factory with .098 main jet and .095 sec. jet. the guy who put the motor together,supposedly put the.095 jet from the secondary as the main jet,and put a .089 as the secondary .(i am under the impression that all car...

i would set them at .014-.015,,,because as they wear,the gap will get bigger.
N0,,,14-19 is not that big a difference,,,just keep them within specs.
also that pertronics conversion is a good thing,,,then you dont have to worry about the lobes being flat or rounded.
