I wouldn't choose a stock color unless your going for originality. Instead I would paint it a color to make it stand out in a crowd, something no one else would do. "DARE TO BE DIFFERENT" Kinda torn here, I always thought when you restored a truck, that most other truck enthusiasts would expect you...

This may be really anal , today i was stripping my rad support, and noticed (under the paint) that there was a sticker with radiator fill specs etc.. was wondering if anyone knew whether somebody offers a set for the whole truck? I ruined the original tryin to get the paint off with acetone :banghea...

Wally, never was thinkin canary yellow.( haha i liked the deere comment!) The color i was lookin at is almost the exact same shade as mohave. Wideblock, that sounds like a good option! I hate to go too far from " stock" and tan interior with black sounds good! Thanks, that way i can keep the original door panel and arm rest etc... color. Glad i asked. Jim

Hi guys, need your opinions on my truck colors. I'm going to go with boxwood green body, white roof. (or maybe) meadowlark yellow....Do you think the original black interior will look ok? My nephew suggested a tan seat, but then i thought that would make the black dash etc... look bad. It is a 68w20...

engine paint color
Guys, havin trouble nailing down a color for my 68 w200 318 engine. Ive seen red and blue in charts etc... Is there a consensus, on what is standard?? Heard that at factory , they just wanted em covered in paint (no preference) Valve covers same as block? manifold, etc... Or am i just being too anal...

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Found some on vintage power wagons (used) for 75 bucks. The springs are busted on driver side, and 2 shackels are broke on other. Figured would just change out. Those helper air bags look pretty neat too. Will check them out! Take care Jim
