Might be time for some different wheels. Looks like there are stock looking steel wheels out there that are 7 inches across.

1970 w-100. 5 on 5.5 15's.
The tire shop will not mount 32x10.5 tires or even 30 x9.5 tires. What tires are people running?

How much do you want to wake it up is the question.My cousin had a motor home 440 with cast crank and low compression. We stuck installed aluminum intake and 750 four barrel and headers. In a two wheel drive life style era truck it was awesome. Not a drag strip type thing but pulled hard.

If one converts to disc brakes is it possible to not use a power brake booster?

If you change out the complete third member which is the easiest way to go make sure to check if current one is open or limited slip. You want to save the limited slip. Expensive part.

'just buy a SFI blow shield" There is one for our trucks that works with a NP 435?

I'm sure I have talked about this before. sorry.
Is the 1970 (23 spline NP435) big block bell housing the hard one to find?
