Mar-K and parts patten needed
Truck in question is 64 Utiline short bed. I contacted Mar-K for the angle strips and the cross sills. They don’t make them for the 61-64 since they don’t have the pattern. I think the concern is the hole pattern for the angle strips. They never have seen the sills for the 61-64. So, I offered that ...

Re: What is better- the DI manual or the BISHKO shop manual?
I purchased the Detroit Iron from Rockauto. I would advise look elsewhere as manual is fuzzy, pictures are heavy black. I think a 12 year old with a by a very low quality scanner did the job. Also it doesn't have a Adobe searchable index file. It also has a embedded software that runs and crashes ru...

Re: Diagnosing drive-line noise Found now what?
I found this issue but, I'm not sure what to do. Since I don't know the proper name for the part, I'll describe it. The front of the drive shaft is splined. It has a slip yoke and the u-joint connect to a drive plate at the rear of the transmission that the parking brake surround. There is slack bet...

I also looked at rock Auto. What about the manuals on CDs? Is there a problem with them? Just wondering I need to get one for my 64 D100.

Diagnosing drive-line noise
My 64 D100 /6 3speed manual has a very distinctive "bell" clanging noise. Its pretty loud almost embarrassing. It does it when light cruising speed with light throttle. Shifts normally and no vibration. Nothing during idle, heavy acceleration and deceleration. Pushing in the clutch while driving mak...

Re: Are these OEM bumpers and grill
Whata ya know....I checked today.....step molding is wood. I talked with another guy still sells parts and dealt with Mopars in the 50-60s. He said they didn't stamp their name on the chrome bumper but, says looks like dealer installed. I don't mind the bumper but, was wondering how many drive their...

I know I'm asking probably more newbie questions. What I'm finding is that there isn't a lot of information on these trucks, so please bear with me. What is the deal with this chrome surround the head lights? OEM, aftermarket, CSS option? I don't have a SERT sticker but, there is 2 small holes above...

Sun Visor confusion which one?
This is probably a newbie question but, hey gotta learn sometime. It seems my 64 D100 Utiline has one sun visor LH side. The current visor doesn't have any protrusion but, the cab has a factory looking hole behind visor. The left one came with the truck and I bought the other two. Are any of these o...

Stopping in to say hey. I have been looking around for a few months and decided to sign up. I just added a 64 Utiline to my MOPAR stable. I'll have some questions coming.
