Re: disc brakes
Yes. Manual disk brakes work great. You have to have the correct size master. I was using manual before I added a power booster. I may even go back to get that firmer brake feel. If you don’t have leg issues I say stick with manual. Contact Dr Diff, Cass will have everything you need for the rear. I...

Re: Source for poverty "dog dish" hubcaps? 68 D100
Howdy New owner here. Can someone link a source for dog dish hubcaps for my 15 inch wheels? The car versions are different, correct? Thanks! There are two different caps so you'll need to measure to find out which one you need. I think they're either 8" I.D. or 9" I.D. :thinking If your wheels are ...

Adding seatbelts to 1964
My wife really wants me to put seatbelts in the 64 and it’s probably a good idea. I find myself reaching for one when I get in. Will the standard belt loop for the shoulder work? You know the triangular shaped loop on the cab above your shoulder. I’ve looked at the Wesco and a seatbeltplanet few oth...

Re: Buddy Buckets Install
I got the seats installed tonight. Too late to get pictures but, I’ll update my build thread. I put the frame in first and I’m glad I did. I had to adjust the buckets and the frame a couple times to get it where I wanted it. One obvious thing is the buckets are higher than the bench. Maybe it’s beca...

Buddy Buckets Install
My buddy seats are finished. I have a few questions. 1) Do I bolt seats to the frame and install together or what’s the procedure? 2) Is there a liner of some type in the buddy box or just painted? It looked like something was glued into it at one point. 3) Anything else I need to know? Thanks and I...

He has some Dodge patterns even though he is known for chevy trucks. Might ask. They are nice folks but, don’t get in a hurry. Craig

Re: 70 D100 Rear Axle Flip
Western Chassis 2104 is what I used. If you flip the axle with weak springs it will hit the frame and you will have to c-notch. You will have to check pinion angle and driveshaft length. Most kits move the axle. Search here for other lowering options. Meaning springs and mount moves. Craig

Looking for info on 1100 pound rear springs
I’m going to order new rear leaf springs this week Detroit Spring has 1100 lbs with 3/2 leaf. I don’t know how these are setup. I don’t need a heavy spring or the overload. The truck has an axle flip and I’m using stock springs. I’ll call them but, thought someone has this setup and could provide a ...

My 64 D100/440 has a Champion with minor modification. I had it in my 70 D200 with a 383. I went back to a stocker on the 70 and I like it better. Craig
