Thanks for the info Hoss. I figured it would have a higher rating. This truck does have 17" wheels if that matters. Probably all the brakes can handle. My new F-350 DUALLY work truck has a 13,000 GVWR. It has real good brakes though. I have a complete '70 1 ton front axle that I'm considering puttin...

I have a complete Chevy 1 ton axle that I'm considering putting in my heavy beast. Anyways the guy who put the diesel engine in said those wimpy Chevy open knuckle axles are not nearly as strong as the Dodge closed knuckle :shame . The truck already has a Chevy power steering box in it so the axle w...

JimE, the thing that's going to sag on this truck is me! This truck is going to ride like a pogo stick in the rear. Therefor I got the wheels spinning in my head on how to soften up the ride in the rear. I'm considering putting some truck air bags with ladder bars on it. Or remove a bunch of leafs i...

Look what fallowed me home today
Hello, new member here :Thumbsup . I just bought a '68 W300 4x4. About 25 years ago the previous owner installed a International 6-cylinder 235HP turbo charged diesel with a Fuller 5 speed OD transmission. The truck is raised about 3-4 inches and the oil pan hangs all the way down to the middle of t...
