Ya I'm a Journeyman carpenter I have hitting studs down pat. After I was done I sat on it and bounced a bit, figured he'll never have any more weight then that on it! Haha. Wife and 3 kids sat on it after but all 4 of them weigh less then me

I think you'll need 6" of lift and negative offset wheels. I've got -12 wheels with 4" of lift and 35's, they clear but I wouldn't clear 38's

Also thinking if you have constant black smoke a bigger turbo will push more air through your engine, cleaning that up and making your engine run cooler. A 5.9 cummins typically isn't hard to keep cool. High egts warm up the cooling system as well

If you are worried about the water pump not flowing enough, put a 6.7 water pump on. It has a 7 blade impeller instead of a 5 blade and flows quite a bit more fluid. I can't remember if its 2013 or 2012 where they change but if you buy a pump for a 2008 6.7 dodge cummins it will work

Sounds like condensation. Warm up the engine well and like mentioned above make sure the PCV is clean and operational
