Re: Swedge cutter, changing front brake drums.
Those babies weren't coming out without getting the swedge cut (I'm 180lbs swinging a 5lb hammer and the hub around the lugs was supported by a deep wall socket). If anyone else runs into this I cut them using a 3/4 inch Milwaukee hole saw in a drill press, took about 5 minutes and then the studs ca...

Re: Picture of My '70 Dodge with New Owner
This picture is probably familiar to a lot of you. Truck needs 4 new drums and new kingpins to pass inspection. So I have to wait to do the fun stuff later. King pins are in no problem, am waiting for one new drum to come and I'm in the middle of figuring out how to break the swedges so I can separa...

Swedge cutter, changing front brake drums.
I have to change the front brake drums on my 70 D100. Does anyone have a method for cutting the Swedges on the wheel studs so I can separate everything? Right now I'm thinking of seeing if I can buy new wheels studs and if I can then I'll grind the backs off the studs and drive them out the front. H...

Nice cars guys! I like the early B's as well. I had a 64 Polara 500 that I just got to where I wanted it but I sold it when the 66 unexpectedly came along.

472 incher. I have since taken off the Stage V intake and have a stock intake with Carters and the correct air cleaner. Funny thing is this car drives like a 318 (until you kick it) and it doesn't have to be towed anywhere. I just think it will look cool as heck to tow it with the Swepty.

Yes I would like a hidden hitch. The bumper stays and the exhaust pipes are exacty where I would put them. My Coronet is similiar to the D100. Mostly original paint, the interior is original except the front seat skins.

Re: Picture of My '70 Dodge with New Owner
Thanks Doug! It is a bit scary buying an old (worthless to most people) truck 1600 miles away, but Doug was a gentleman and honest as can be. Doug cared for this truck for many years and I wished I had more time to visit. I've had quite a few sweptlines but never a truck good enough for what I want....

Re: Seat upholstery
Be careful on the A100 seats. I was told by a fellow that the A100 and D series seats were slightly different and the covers will not fit. Memory is fuzzy but I think the seat backs might be a different height. I know you can get seat covers for the seats they put in the 68 Dart S/S cars but I think...
