I especially like the "Retired" US Navy W300.

Welcome to the site, John.
Activity on the site has died down a bit over the past few years
but there's a group of us still around that were members of Kris's
site. New members still trickle in.... which is good.

Re: bumpsteer
Im saving up to swap out my front end for a Q1a front end. Not knowing enough about these stock Swepline front ends, what do I need to get my drop axle back to stock to eliminate the bump steer? I like the drop but the Q1A front end will take care of that. To take care of my current bump steer issu...

I tried the hedman headers # 79250 long tubes but it hit the steering knuckle off the rack and pinion. Any ideas on headers that will fit ? any help appreciated, thanks, ...

Re: Full Time 4x4 Hubs 70 PW
Years ago...... I picked up a '70 W200 Dana 44 front axle from a fellow member down in Maryland. It came out of a fire truck [brush buggy], as I recall. :thinking It had the full time 4WD flanges on it. They're somewhere out in my shop.... I took them off to put on a pair of period lock out hubs. John

Re: Exhaust question
I'd suggest you contact Waldron's. I didn't see your truck (slant 6) listed, but they may still have the data or if your old system is intact enough, they can make a copy. I like Waldron's because they offer stainless steel as an option. The part's store exhaust system are pretty light gauge steel ...

Re: I'm back, update....
Good morning everyone! I'm still here, and still working on my 1971 Dodge Sweptline W ! Last summer I finally got the 318 running! I just got the windshield in last month! Having this old truck to build is a great personal joy to me! I currently have a 318 in my shop that I'm rebuilding to replace ...
