Re: Slant six engine hoist mounting locations

What year is the truck? Crossmember mounts or engine side mounts? Tranny still on the bell or off? Radiator out? Fan, pulleys, alternator, etc off? Cab tunnel cover off? Sorry should have stated all that! It is a 1967 d100 with the a745 3 speed. Radiator out and fan and alternator off. Starter is o...

Re: HEADER OPTIONS FOR A CROWN VIC IFS SWAP

If all else fails.... get yourself a pair of '69-'70 HP style cast iron manifolds.
I put up with headers on my '67 Coronet R/T for far too long. :banghead

Re: 392 Hemi into w100 powerwagon

There is a member who came across [and bought] a '50s vintage 392 Hemi equipped W from the Power Giant era. :study
I'm not certain ..... but I think its a W200? :thinking

Re: 1971 D200 Conversion W200

If it were me.... I'd look for a W and keep your D a D. I've been in
the "middle" of a D200 to W200 conversion for years.... partly due
to the non-Sweptline demands of life.... and partly due to the
untold hours it takes to do something like this alone [in my case]. :2cents

Re: sweptline parts

Hello, I don't know if this the right spot for this question, my son and i are working on a 63 d100, we put the cv swap in the front and a 98 cv rear end. Now were on to the rust, I came across a website called sweptlineparts.com that says they can cut parts off of donor trucks. I setup an account ...

Good to see you back on the forum. :Thumbsup I used a '68 W100 and a '71 W200 to plow snow
on our property for a few years. Both of them would start up easy in sub zero weather. :Thumbsup

Re: Saginaw Box

Thanks John but it was something I was interested in rebuilding myself. I notice there are a number of different rebuild kits out there, depending on the ratio and spline number. I just wanted to make sure I was getting the correct one so I need to know exactly which box I have. I just noticed you ...

Re: Not a Swepty, but dream truck

Great looking rig. :Thumbsup A friend of mine bought pretty much the same truck you did a few years back. It was "retired" from a local FD. He had the frame shortened to accept a Lifestyle 6' box. He converted the rear axle to SRW and "softened" the suspension by revising the spring packs. He has th...

Re: Saginaw Box

From researching this forum it looks like my '67 D100 would have had a 525 Saginaw steering box. Is this correct? There seem to be quite a few 525's, with differing spline counts and different ratios. Would anyone know which one Dodge would have used on the D100's in '67? Alternatively how do I det...

Re: 1966 camper special

So I just inherited and old 66 camper special that has been off the road for 20+ yrs. Don’t know it’s history other than originally came from CA. The interior has bucket seats with a center console between them. Was this a factory option or were these installed from another type of vehicle? It’s an...
