Re: Its almost that time
my hard work is just starting! Today was gorgeous outside and it motivated me to get the 66 back up and running. I bled the brakes and clutch and oh boy is the clutch returning as it should! Happy Spring, time to cruise! or in my case start working

Re: RETURN OF THE ADVENTURER!
Considering what is out there in the new truck market, I'd say this looks like a good move on Ram's part. I wish they hadn't done away with the manual tranny option though. The guy pulled out an old book and told me he had serviced that radiator in '89 (I was three years old!) and again...

Do the upgrade!! Also the diagrams might help you out. As stated earlier bypass the bulkhead connectors and run as much uninterrupted 10 gauge as you can

Replace the automatic choke that bolts on to the intake manifold if it is not working right and install a new one.It is not an expensive piece.Sounds more like the air fuel mixture screw at the base of the carburator will fix the problem once you adjust it,Gas economy will improve too :2cents Where...

Re: Engine stalls while braking or coasting '66 D-200
I sprayed some ether at the carburetor base gasket and noticed a change in rpms. Apparently this means I have a vacuum leak somewhere. I torqued down the carb base bolts and also replaced the ignition coil. Took her out for a spin and now she will not die when coasting! :dance I am now having issues...

Re: Carburetor swap
I just keep having this stalling problem. Points adjusted, condensor replaced, wires replaced (again), float triple checked, fuel filter replaced, carb cleaned out and gaskets replaced per kit instructions. My 2barrel rebuild on the 68 went without a hitch but this poly will not idle after slowing d...

Carburetor swap

I am not sure if this is original or not as there is a vacuum line below where the fuel line comes in that is plugged with a screw. I was checking out these carbs on ebay http://c...
