Re: 1969 W100 Suspension Travel?
Full drop is a reference to the spring at full drop meaning you have the truck on a lift raised off the ground and the leafs are free of the vehicles weight resting on them. So from what I gather and what I can tell you based on my truck the springs are about 5 inches from the top leaf in the pack ...

Re: 1969 W100 Suspension Travel?
Are you looking for full drop measurements? Not exactly sure what "full drop measurements" are, but anything I/we can reference to get a sense of where the truck would have been as stock, would be a huge help. What I need for the spring builder is to tell him how many more inches of lift to add, fr...

Have yet to hear back from PwrWgnDrvr, if anyone else could take a couple measurements, that would be a great help.

1969 W100 Suspension Travel?
I just installed all new, custom made, leaf-springs on my 1969 W100, and the something went wrong with the spring build. My fronts leafs are inverted, with something less than a inch distance to the bump-stops. Rears ended up lower than what I took off too, with a little less than 5" to the bump-sto...

Re: truck stance
I just pulled a set of 1969 W100 springs off my truck for replacement.
Up for grabs; local pick up only. Costa Mesa, CA. Gotta take both front and rears. Going to the scrappers soon...

Looks like the bushing shell is still in the truck. It is a two-piece shell, like the two-piece rubbers and two-piece inner sleeves. I'm having a hell of a time getting them out...

Maybe check these guys..... :idea :2cents http://www.springsnthings.com/leaf-spring-hardware.htm I've bought some u-bolts for two of my W200s from these guys... They're nice to deal with and very fair priced. John Just looked around on their web site. Looks like a good resource. Even though they do...

Re: truck stance
Is it just me or does it seem like the 68 and older 3/4 ton trucks sit higher in the air than 69 thru 71? If you look at page 18 of the 1969 "Light-Duty Dodge Trucks" brochure, Dodge does say the 1969 W100, at least, sits lower: "...the W100 displays a new LOWER PROFILE for sleeker appearance and e...

Power Steering "Wedge Shims"
I was reading a "for sale" ad, and someone mentioned "wedge shims" for power steering set ups. My truck was retro-fitted with P/S, and does not have any wedge shims. Searching the board, I noticed only a couple people mentioned them. Does anyone happen to have a pair of wedge shims or more info? My ...

Re: Front leaf springs available for the W100?
Well, Alcan Springs is making my springs--right now They're going to make new U-bolts to match my leaf pack, and bump the rear spring rate a little, while they're at it. I ordered the hanger bushings from Springs and Things. So far, so good!

You guys are spot on :salut Looks like the brake/clutch pedal pads are, indeed, mid-sixties A/B parts: https://www.yearone.com/Product/chrysler-a-body/xm69 The accelerator pedal (which I decided I don't need right now) is either one of two late-sixties A body parts: https://www.yearone.com/Catalog/c...

Re: 1969 318 Dual Exhaust (w/Headers)
One thing that saved money, and I kinda regret, was having the exit in front of the tires. The first thing I plan to do when I get my '65 W200 on the road is take it to the local muffler shop and have them run the pipes back to the bumper. The system is new.... but the previous owner had the system...

Anyone know where to get pedal rubbers for a 69?
Mine are worn, and I don't see any in the aftermarket, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong places...

Re: 1969 318 Dual Exhaust (w/Headers)
I recently had an custom exhaust built out of 2-1/4" stainless, with stainless mufflers for my 383. All mandrel bent, with a crossover ("H") tube. I also had a sensor bung welded in, for tuning. About $750 cash, in CA. One thing that saved money, and I kinda regret, was having the exit in front of t...
