with a cutting torch and a welder, you can put anything in there. I would suggest sticking with the floor shifter, rather than opening this can of worms.

Re: D vs W drag link

Terry is right. D and W studs are oriented different. The D slides into the steering arm from the bottom. The W comes in from the top. Rare parts is 400.00 because it is not a one piece unit. You get a sleeve and both stud ends and it is a straight arm not bent like the original one.

Yep, too small on the master end. Got quick refund though. Currently the original seeps a little but will be ok until I work on it some more. Got DOT 5 so I'm ok with that.
I have the correct fittings.

Re: Front axle?

D100 and D200 are the same axle beam unless it is a crew cab. The spindles are not the same. The crew cab uses the same axle beam as the D300.

the aftermarket sending units are junk. And they do not fit the 70-71 tanks as they advertise. We rebuild the original senders.

Re: Source for reverse lenses and 70-71 side marker lenses.

Here we go again. The van light and the sweptline light are the same dimensions. BUT the similarity stops there. The van light has no back to it and no way to seal against the housing. The sweptline has a back and uses a gasket to seal against the housing to keep the water out of the light. The van ...

Re: 70 rear lighting

I have a 70 Power Wagon. Having issues with the rear lights. I have four wires going to the stop/turn/tail. I think something may be crossed up somewhere. The yellow lead works for both the left blinker and the stop light. Is this normal? I have Yellow, Brown, Black, and Dark Green. What goes to wh...

Re: Repairing My Fuel Sending Unit

Ive also had issues with mine since I got it. When tank was full gauge would read just above half. After some time the gauge quit working. I just got a float for the mustangs and now it reads half tank when it is full. The old float had a rubber ring around it. Even when I put it on new float it is...
