On a 69 you should have a duel master cylinder. The front large reservoir is for the front brakes and the smaller rear is for the rear. I think it's a 60/40 pressure split at the proportioning valve on the frame and that is where the wire attaches. It's a pressure switch that turns on the dash brak...

Thanks a bunch for the knowledge as it is power for sure. I had the same problem; voltage limiter bit the dust in my 69 W200. Mouser send me the parts in a jiffy and today I'm ready for the acid test. Thanks again ! What a great Form.

The Factory blue print @ Eaton shows the shackle in the rear, but mine is in the front of the spring. See images.
