Looking to buy front leaf spring shackle bracket for 67 D200
I was attempting to remove the bushing that goes through a bracket on the frame and holds the front shackle for the front leaf springs (see photos) and I messed up and bent the bracket. This bracket is riveted to the frame with three rivets. I'm going to try to use heat to remove the bushing and the...

Question about cutting out floor pans
Are the floor pans welded to the cab bracket right below them (the one that is only attached to the cab, not the frame)? Or do they just sit on top of this bracket with no connection other than the bolt that holds the cab to the frame bracket? If they are welded, how do you separate the floor pans f...

Vent window rubber "sash" install
I am installing the rubber that holds the vent window glass into its frame and am having trouble. It's not that I can't get the glass fully seated into the frame, but after I do, the rubber near the corners has torn, leaving a gap. I tried to capture it in the attached pics, but it was difficult sin...

Re: Side window channel felt that goes in vent window frame
Yeah, that sounds like a good plan, thanks for your help. Now I just have to figure out how to rivet the inside vertical vent channel. Never done aircraft rivets before.

Re: Side window channel felt that goes in vent window frame
Thank you Jim. Your CD has been VERY helpful as I restore my D200. Do you happen to remember where you got the long channel rubber with felt that goes in the vent frame where the side window rolls up and down in? (File 528P8260044.JPG in #32 Door Glass folder of your CD). I bought this from Rock Aut...

Side window channel felt that goes in vent window frame
Is the side window channel felt that goes in the long part of the vent window frame the same as the stuff that goes around the door frame? It appears that the channel in the vent is smaller (see the photo). I ordered the rubber kit from Restoration Specialties, but it doesn't appear that piece comes...

Re: Clutch/flywheel operation question with video
Update: turns out the whole crank is moving. Below is a video of the front of the crank. You can see it move as I move the flywheel back and forth at about the 15 second mark. Why would the crank move so much?

Clutch/flywheel operation question with video
I've had a strange noise coming from around the transmission bellhousing, and today I took off the inspection cover and operated the clutch. In the video linked below, you can see (at about 15 seconds, I had to start the video and then crawl out from under the truck to operate clutch) that when the ...

Re: Replacement Radiator for 1968 D200 318
FYI, in case anyone finds this thread in the future, I finished my radiator swap (1968 D200 318 LA with manual trans) using the following parts: --Champion Radiators CC1640 (http://www.championradiators.com/product/CC1640). Had to drill two lower radiator mount holes, but it was no big deal. --Allst...

Re: Radiator HELP!!!
I know this is an old thread, but I just installed the Champion CC1640 radiator. Only problem is that the lower outlet is 1.75 inch diameter, rather than the stock 1.5 inch diameter. Anyone know what lower radiator hose can be used for this?
Thanks,
Allen

Re: Replacing Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge Hose (68 D200 31
Hey Powerwagon54, you think I could take the fitting off the old original hose and put that on the 1/8" copper line? Seems like as long as the copper compression fitting that came with the 1/8" copper line seals up against the back of the gauge, and to the 3/8 28tpi fitting, then it shouldn't leak? ...

Replacing Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge Hose (68 D200 318)
I have a 68 D200 318, that has the stock mechanical oil pressure gauge. The rubber hose for it broke, and I was looking to replace it. I see the copper lines that Summit offers, but they are 1/8" line, and the factory gauge looks to have a 3/16" line at the end that goes into the gauge. Has anyone u...

Replacement Radiator for 1968 D200 318
My radiator sprung a leak near the outlet tube. I could have it fixed, but wanted to see what others have used as replacement radiators for a 68 D200 with the 318 motor. I'm having a little bit of difficulty finding replacements.
Thanks for any help.

Stromberg WW carb accelerator pump help
I'm having a hard time figuring the proper arrangement of the accelerator pump for my Stromberg WW 3-283. I don't think the previous owner had it set up right, and the instructions I have show the accelerator pump as an assembly so it's hard to tell what order things go in. I have a picture showing ...
