The Mods could, but it may be quicker to start another and post a link to it in this thread.

Re: Correct carb kit

It's a Carter BBD (Ball & Ball Double), and is a newer vintage than your truck. I'm guessing that is about a 1975 or so version originally. You should be able to find the right kit at Rockauto.com, but it may require comparing numbers on the carb. If you cant find a tag on it, as with many refurbs, ...

I had a Toreador Red 68 that faded to exactly that color.

Re: poly motor question...

There is some good poly balancer info on the DTA forum. Read down this thread, best information in the last few posts:. http://dodgesweptline.org/phorum/read.php?2,14462 For what it's worth, I've never swapped a canister for a spin on on a poly, but I have on other engines of the same vintage, and n...

I think this type A833OD setup would work with mods made to the truck, but the OP didn't want to makeany permanent changes: http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=60022

2X on the accelerator pump. Some of them utilized a leather seal on the pump plunger.

It's a cheap and easy fix, my as well slip a kit in the carb.

Re: 69 Broken Clutch Pivot

Glad you caught that before it failed while on the road! I noticed my clutch was very light after replacing the pivot as well. It's amazing how well things work when everything is in order. :Thumbsup I'm still working on the boot, have been in contact with Brewers to get some measurements. More to f...

Re: 69 Broken Clutch Pivot

Tom, Sorry you got a crack for me but glad you caught it before you had a total failure. Also a good thing you verified the part numbers. The FP 312 pivot is correct, but the boot I used is an FB021R. The boot seemed to really fit well and appeared to be very close to the original which turned to du...

Re: 69 Broken Clutch Pivot

It doesn't take long to see if you have an issue with a pivot, and a close inspection should reveal any cracks in the corner of the bracket. The good news is that it's easy to R&R. Jack the truck, remove the clutch inspection cover, disconnect the clutch linkage from the clutch fork, remove the fork...

Re: HO-7004 Chrysler Round Back 80A Alternator Upgrade Kit

Cole, Thanks for your reply. Please let me know what the quality of the kit you ordered turns out to be. Since it's the same company it may be an indicator of the quality of the upgrade kit. It figures it would be tougher to upgrade the round back, seems like I always end up on the harder path;-). S...

69 Broken Clutch Pivot

Fellow Dodge addicts, I thought I’d pass along a recent experience pertaining to 69 and later Swepts that I found little on when searching the board. Although I’ve had a ton of earlier trucks, my 69 W100 is the first 69 and up sweptline I’ve owned with a manual trans. The clutch was not releasing fu...

HO-7004 Chrysler Round Back 80A Alternator Upgrade Kit

Hello Sweptliners, Do any of you have first hand experience with this round back alternator upgrade? Shortly I'll be upgrading the wiring per the MAD modification to eliminate the ameter, etc. Since my 69 W100 has dealer installed AC, I'd like to upgrade the alternator output at the same time. I'm n...

Re: Dodge Trucks in the movies and TVs

I just watched Alaska: Dangerous Territory and noticed a white 68 CC PW with a camper on it being hauled to Prudhoe Bay on one of the first big truck convoys up. They must have thought they were pretty tough to take one on the first lift up into those conditions:). As poor as the heater in my dad's ...

Looks like some of the pics are in a shipping container, where did you find it?
