you could possibly reuse the mounts and stuff a hockey puck in between for the rubber part of the mount.

I only paid $15 for my headlight switch at autozone in Scottsbluff, NE. (this is for a 1966 W200) I think the switches are the same though.

Re: Late 80's EFI swap?

If your hell bent on installing EFI on your Poly, Then why not install a 4 BBL intake and go aftermarket EFI conversion. That would be the best way to go. :thinking :thinking :2cents I would if the 4 bbl intake wasn't $500 + $300-$400 for the carb =$900 I would do that. (I might do a 4bt swap in it...

Late 80's EFI swap?

I know I need to update the fuel system for the TBI from a 89 Dodge but, wh...

Re: Building power!?

I know a good all around tire that is cheap is a 235-75-R15 LT tires that roll easily and have a good ride, or the 235-75-15 P tires if you want to be buying lots of passenger ply tires IMO.

Re: Building power!?

I find that bigger tires are better depending on your setup the truck has on it. personally I would do bigger for the fact you dont spin the motor faster burning more fuel($2.63 a Gallon as of today 7/32/15) in my area and I'm 30 miles from any gas station.

Re: 1970 Dude - Field Find

throw a satin clear on that A.S.A.P it will look like the clear coat is original(In most places)
My truck I found in a cow pasture that sat for 8 or so years rusting away till the farmer that owns it(I've mad payments on it) wanted to pull it out of there and get it running again.

Re: What to do with a 440?

Well if it was a 68 charger do a roadkill thing here but it is a truck. I would sugest not because a 440 is a big motor that passes everything but a gas station.
