Re: Braden Winch repair?

Nice Power Wagon! I've rebuilt a couple LU2 winches since the original post and some parts are still available.
Hoping to get to restoring my Dads 64 W200 in the next few years. Looks very similar to your rig but 50 year old metallic green.

Re: Spicer yoke PNs for drivetrain

Interested to hear what size yoke you found and part number as I may be replacing a few yokes in the future.

Re: Experience installing NV4500

I also installed an NV4500 in my 62 W100 with LA340 engine. If you are installing in a D100, it is the same idea, cross member can be cut out or modified like in Red383's post. I cut the transmission crossmember like the factory did for the automatic trucks. Then made a square tube cross member and ...

Re: Spicer yoke PNs for drivetrain

I have been able to get a 1350 series yoke for the NP201. I don't believe 1410 yokes are available for the NP201.
I've used this website to get a better idea on availability of various yokes:

Re: New Guy with a 61

Compression test is on the list. Hoping for the best. I have parts to build most of a 383… brace yourself… small block Chevy. But I’d rather keep this thing all mopar so hopefully she’s halfway healthy. Long term I’d like to put a 4bt in it. I’m in Elk Grove and take the chevelle to Folsom cars and...

The wrecking yard in Livingston would likely have one but I don't know his winter schedule... only been during the summer.
Livingston, CA south of Modesto? Name of the yard?

Re: HELPPPP - 64 W100 Motor Mount ASAP PLEASE

The motor mount / isolator you need is from pre ~1965. The super common thin rectangular rubber mount is for the 1965+ when the frame tower was changed. Wish I could help but I don't have any extras at the moment. The wrecking yard in Livingston would likely have one but I don't know his winter sche...

Re: New Guy with a 61

Glad to hear of another Nor-Cal sweptliner. I'd run a compression test on the 318 to get a baseline and see if it has any larger issues before going to far. The NP420 would be correct for a 61 and the NP201 would be factory as well. The NP201 has a 10 bolt PTO while the NP205 (1969+) had a smaller 6...

Re: 1971 D200 Conversion W200

Here are a couple reference pics from a 71 W100 I helped restore a few years back 383/727/205 727 had the shortest output you can get. The intermediate driveshaft was obviously rather short but still had the proper slip yoke. I have worked on a 65 W200 that had a 413/727 (not stock) using the stock ...

Very jealous. Looking forward to more pics!

Re: '62 D200

Looks like it will work. I have had issues with using the 1st Gen Dodge steel wheels (88-93). The hole diameter is too small to fit over the hubs on the front and back (Dana 60 rear) of the D200 trucks. I had to use a sanding disk on a grinder to open up the center hole just enough to fit over the r...

I'm from Paso but live up north now.
Have friends and family with Sweptlines down there.
Those wheels are newer Ford tubeless wheels. You can see the oval Ford stamp in the last picture.
I've still got a few parts in Paso if you are looking for something in particular.

Re: 62/63 Early Crew Cab Questions

Hmmm... haven't seen many of these. My old 63 D200 did not have these rivets and frame bracing. What wheelbase is listed on the door tag... 122" or 146"? Is there any SERT sticker for frame modifications: "Frame Reinf" I had a 1964 W200 crew cab that was extended to a long bed likely by a coach comp...

Re: Poly Headers

Factory winch on W100 and W200 trucks were the Braden LU-2 with the 3 piece pillow block mounted drive shaft from the 10 bolt FTD-7 PTO off the NP201 transfer case. The W300 used slightly different driveshafts and mounting brackets due to the larger frame. The c-shaped frame extensions on the W100/W...

Re: Poly Headers

Yes they do clear the factory winch PTO driveshaft. Mopar Norm had these designed to fit in the D / W 100-300 with the factory winch and bellhousing crossmember. I have had these headers on my 62 W100 with factory winch and my Dad's 64 W300 with a factory winch setup. They fit the 61-66 Town Wagons ...

Re: Winch & Bumper with Braden FTD-7

That is a good price for all those parts. I have rebuilt 3 of the LU-2 winches and most parts are still available thru Paccar. I bought my parts thru Airline Hydraulics in PA.

Check out this link for a breakdown of parts:

Thanks for the info. Just recently discovered the large tank differences. The new repop sending unit from Van's doesn't read correctly in mine.
