Re: 360-408 head question.
There are tons of articles all over the internet about building up Mopar small blocks with the exception of the 273. I have found builds, just cant find any with someone building up stock heads on a stroked block. thanks for the input, definitely reassures my building stock heads. as far as port/po...

Re: 360-408 head question.
It is just a truck motor, one of the reasons I am not building a race motor. I am trying to find out if the stock heads, with a little work, would be good enough to not completely choke the motor. The 72cc can be closed up with milling, the dog ear filled, and polishing is super easy. I have been se...

360-408 head question.
So, I am going to be building a 408 stroker for my D-200. I will be gathering parts slowly and i am not sure what i want to do for heads. I am not building it for racing, just a fun upgrade. I am shooting for 9.5:1 comp with a mild cam. now my question is, can i use the stock heads? the 360 has 2.02...

Re: orange paint jobs
I used persian orange (Allas-Chalmers) for my 66 (dont have pictures atm) and in overcast its bright red and in the sun its orange. I looked up some pictures, could only find tractors. But that color looks and sounds perfect. I would really like to see your truck! Haha Here is a older pic and it's ...

Re: 69 up wood bed
that's what i was looking for, i couldn't find pictures of one. i plan on completely removing the existing floor. the only thing i don't like is that the bed floor wont be streamlined with the tailgate anymore. you'd have to build new, lower profile cross members.

Re: 69 up wood bed
This is a route I plan on going with my swepty, it will be cheaper and I think it will look nice/unique. The reason is my bed is completely rotted out. If/when I finish I will post pics on my build thread.

Could you post pics. I have been googling all day. all I find are professional pictures and I would like to see...
When I converted my 66 W100 4x4 to Power brake dual system I used 3/16 brakes lines. Been working just fine for 34 years.
I have like 35' left over from my '85 dodge so I wouldn't have to buy anymore.

Power brake question

Is there any other modifications needed in conjunction with adding power? I am keeping the drum brakes and up...

Is this the right steering wheel?
Is this the right steering wheel for a 1969 d200? I have searched and seen all kinds in the truck but not one style in all of them.
