Has anyone ever here done this... so far, the only disc brake conversion I've seen has been for the front axle of the D100/200 series...

I'm really thinking about doing this... but curious if anyone else has already gone through this process.

Not to start a paint it or leave it discussion... but leave it. That thing looks completely badass! I have a '64 D100 without motor or tranny... I would love to do something like this after I finish my W200... please post anything that you think will help those of us who follow the same path... what...

Extra heater hose connection
Well, sometimes I do things without thinking them all the way through... When I purchased my '64 W200 (did not run) and got it home... I started removing some old junk that I figured that I didn't need, and that I would replace anyway.... old hoses mostly. One of these items was a canister type of d...

I'll have to check... I'm guessing you are talking about the D100... As the W200 has stock split rims.64D200 wrote:Nice lookin truck. I've got a 64 D200 2wd. I like the wheels that are on it. What size are they? Can you tell me what the backspacing is on the rims?

Re: 64 D100... what to do...
Nice finds. If you still have the huge rear bumper, and want a smaller one, I have a Ranger bumper and brackets that basically bolt right in. I'm a couple hours north of you, outside Memphis by about 20 miles. Feel free to haul one or both trucks up for a "mega thrash", I'm getting ready to finally...

Universal Wiring Harness
I recently purchased a Universal Wiring Harness for EZ-Wiring. The old wiring harness was hacked, spliced, worn, and parts were just plain missing. I took a lot of photos, and made sure to try and understand the way the old wiring harness was connected prior to pulling it all out, my issue is that a...

Re: 64 D100... what to do...
It has been a while... New coil, distributor cap, plugs, plug wires, alternator regulator, starter relay, ground cable, battery cables, and wiring harness (by ez-wiring) that I'm working on now. I documented all of the connections, and I have a manual.... I'm wiring up the new universal harness now....

Re: Utiline bed wood, out of the box ideas
I have a 64 Ute that I need to put a bed in... my idea involves a little more work, and i am not exactly sure how I will do it... but... I plan on purchasing inexpensive wood to make the bed, but prior to installing it I want to cover it with some old sheet metal. I have an old pile of tins that use...

Re: New parts on old truck... no electrical power.
Well, it would seem that I need to just bite the bullet and buy a wiring harness. I traced the wiring from the battery to the instrument panel using a volt meter... still had power... BUT nearly all of the wires are broke, frayed, spliced, or missing?!?! :banghead I may only need the cab portion of ...

Re: New parts on old truck... no electrical power.
Before replacing crap make sure theirs power to coil. The points are working. Basic troubleshooting . To start an engine is a series of events. Figure out each step and make sure the step you are checking is responding as it should. :thinking No doubt... i'll start with making sure the coil is prov...

Re: New parts on old truck... no electrical power.
The good news... I put on a new starter relay... and I can bridge the posts to get the motor to turn over. The not so good news... I pulled one off the plug wires and connected a separate spark plug to it... when I attempt to start it the plug doesn't spark. Ok, maybe I should just replace the coil,...

New parts on old truck... no electrical power.
I have a 1964 W200 with original 318 4 speed. It has what appears to be some new parts on it, distributor, coil, and starter. I have put a new battery on it and it is dead. The starter relay was a bit rusty, so I picked up a NOS replacement and swapped it out. Still, turn the key and I got nothing. ...

Re: 64 D100... what to do...
A new battery.... new relay switch (NOS)... turn the key and nothing. It has a fairly new looking starter, so I guess I'll start replacing wiring. Thoughts?
