Re: Plasma Cutter question

While I have no experience with this machine, I can tell you that whatever you do, make sure you can get the consumables. It may be a cut like a mad man, but if you can't get tips it's not much of a deal.

Good luck with your decision.

Re: Latest acquisition - 1968 D700

Man that's a sweet truck, I would love to find a good husky D700-D800 to replace my C-70 Chebby.

Enjoy!

Re: Gauges and dash controls always on.

Well it's all better now. Everything works as it should. Unfortunately my cracked fuse box is now a badly broken fuse box. So does any one have a spare '67 fuse box?

Thanks in advance.

Speedometer needed

Hello all, it looks like I'm needing a speedometer. This is for my 67 D 100, I had a spare that I thought was ok, but it jumps badly. Does anyone have a spare?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Gauges and dash controls always on.

Hi everyone, a bit of an update. Someone before me has played musical spade connectors with the fuse box. Thanks to the diagram I am slowly getting things back to where they belong. I have a few more wires than the diagram shows but I know I'm on the right track.

Thanks again

Gauges and dash controls always on.

Hello everyone, I just picked up a new to me '67 D100 custom. It's pretty strait, but before I start using it as my parts runner I would like sort out a few things. The thing that has me troubled the most is that the entire dash ( gauges, radio, heater, wipers) are powered with the key in the off po...

Re: 1965 crew cab dully hpp

Thanks, yes that is my '66 W100 when it was new. Dad traded it off in '73 on a new W200. I tracked down the owner and was able to buy it back last year. It's not that pretty anymore, but the /6 is easy on gas for puttering around the farm.

Re: New guy with a question.

Yes I was bummed for a bit. I called him to see if he had sold it, he had not, but his son had found out he was going to sell it. Apparently the son gave him a butt chewing so he pulled the ad. Hopefully the kid will do something with it. I left my name and number just in case. Time will tell. Bruce

Re: New guy with a question.

Thanks it sure looked legit, I think I may have missed it. I wasn't able to go look at it this weekend as we were harvesting canola, it has disappeared from Craig's list.

Oh well.

New guy with a question.

Hello everyone my name is Bruce and after lurking for some time I decided to join up. My only Sweptline at this time is a '66 W100 /6 short wheel base. It was bought new by my dad, he traded it off in '72 for a new W200. We've kept track of it over the years and last summer I was able to buy it back...
