Re: Bulkhead Connector Replace 1969 W100

I found everything on eBay. You have to be somewhat clever with your searches. Only one connector plug showed up on a numbers search. Had to just search for Mopar bulkhead connector, or something, and look at the pics. Using Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler separately instead of Mopar sometimes helps. The ...

Re: Bulkhead Connector Replace 1969 W100

Thanks. I found an NOS bulkhead connector, part number 2926263 and all three cable ends, 2962256, 2926257, 2926258, so I'm going all in. My amp cable already was rewired using 10ga straight through the firewall.

Bulkhead Connector Replace 1969 W100

My bulkhead connector finally melted down and I need to replace it, and at least one of the 8-connector plugs. How much of a pain is this? Any tips or suggestions? My alt wire has already been rerouted, per the 1970(?) service note. I think I'm going to stay OEM. Thanks!

Well, it all went back together just fine. I guess I got an updated OEM shaft. I'll ask the admin if I should add the vendor's contact info to the thread.

Re: 69-71 W100-W200 Intermediate Prop Shaft

Well, this is kinda weird. The Intermediate Prop Shaft I bought has the same part number the book calls for written on it and tagged, 2952143 (Seller would not guarantee the number. Said that was the way he bought it). They both have same number stamped into the tube the book calls for, 2909456 - bu...

I got close to doing the same thing, and still might. But this seemed a no-brainier given the new u-joints, etc.

Re: 69-71 W100-W200 Intermediate Prop Shaft

Great suggestions. I talked to a drive shaft shop over the phone and they wanted $220 just to replace the 1.75" tube section. I found this NOS for $250 shipped. The guy specializes in NOS Mopar, but only has limited truck parts. I'll report back with a phone number once everything goes back together...

69-71 W100-W200 Intermediate Prop Shaft

Hi all. Just snapped the Intermediate Prop Shaft on my 1969 W100. Parts book says number 2952-143 for 69-71 W100-W200. If anyone know a number that crosses, that could be helpful. NP435, 383. Thanks! BTW, I posted a "wanted ad" also. Sorry for cross posting... https://i.ibb.co/6FDp7BP/20220831-17274...

Mopar Restoration Links Page

Stumbled on this while looking for AC expansion valve info for my truck. Might be helpful for tracking down parts/services.

Re: Gas Tank Sending Unit Gasket Replacment

Yeah, I know but... the less hands on my truck the better. I think this was the first anyone but me has touched the truck since I've owned it, other than the muffler shop. I have Adventurer seats, so clear access to the sender. Just didn't know if the sender would clear the rear of the cab with the ...

Re: Gas Tank Sending Unit Gasket Replacment

No, I think it is the sender gasket. The fill hose looks good, clamps are tight. The suction hose I'm going to replace, just because. The tank was recently removed by AAA because the idiot driver dropped half his gas nozzle into the tank. I think they removed the sender to shake out the parts.

Gas Tank Sending Unit Gasket Replacment

The gas fumes are starting to get to me, and the solution seems to be a new gasket for the sending unit. Am I going to have to remove my seats and tank to do this? I have the Adventurer seats with the fold-down arm rest thing. Anything else I need to be aware of?

Re: Power Steering Pump Question ??? 1971 W200

Before I figured out the Ford Fairlane (early Mustang, Hudson, I think too) angle, my research took me to tractor PS set-ups for my pump (John Deere, Cat, Ford, and so on). All the tractor guys were using, no surprise I guess, tractor fluid. Don't think it is very high pressure, and don't think it m...

Re: Power Steering Pump Question ??? 1971 W200

I have the same thing on my 69 W100. Just replaced the seal on the Eaton pump. The kit for a 63-64 Ford Fairlane works. I didn't figure that out until I had already replaced the seal. Rockauto sells a Gates kit that looks to have the correct seal and all the correct o-rings. Note, someone installed ...

Re: 1966-Dodge-Power-Wagon-Camper-

power steering was an option. 61 to 71 was an assist set up. I've never seen anything that suggests that P/S was an option in a W100, W200 or W300. There are some W500s that have a SERT number for P/S. I posted some brochures from 1969, and I don't see power steering as an option for W100 or W200. ...

Re: 69 W100 Window Regulator

That's a big help. Thanks for the pics and the link. I guess the rear, what you are calling a "clip," has fallen off. I did not look into the bottom of the door for pieces :banghead . I'll have open it back up and look around. I did notice the channel did have a bit of rust in that area, but it didn...
