Wiper refills
FYI Any Trico old style wiper blade refills longer than the 12" stock one's are usable. Cut them the exact length as the original opposite the end with hole sticking out past the rubber. Then slide the metal lock tab back in place at the opposite end between the metal and rubber parts of the blade. ...

Re: 65 D100 Driver door hinge repair
675-5143 is the Napa part number. I tried to install them using the You-tube video with no success, pin would not come out. Heating and then using a press might be helpful. The end of the hinge is mortised with drill press before installing pin to accommodate the bushing which was countersunk accord...

Resistor in coil circuit
Hi, was hoping I could find someone who could inform me if what I think is a resistor in the attached photo, mounted under the bolt head on the front of coil mounting bracket on my 318 poly ? Does it attach to the positive terminal on the coil I know this is a long shot but worth a try, anyone know ...

Re: Timing cover dust seal
I have determined that the felt seal goes behind the damper in its cup, as the outside and inside dimensions of the felt dust seal matches the dampers configuration. Have a good day.

Timing cover dust seal
Installing a Fel-pro Timing Cover Set Part # TCS45284. In the set is a felt timing cover dust seal, donut shaped. This dust seal was absent on disassembly and looking at the 318 Poly diagram and associated parts list it's not shown. If this is need, where dose it install? Thanks for info.

Re: 66 Dodge Poly 318; W-200
He returned my money. Had to buy 5 intake valves as 3 of the original valves from my truck were within spec. Drove 800 miles to buy 2 heads that seller told me had been rebuilt for $200.00 + fuel, when I measured every thing I found them to be completely worn out, but rebuildable. $591.00 for machin...

Re: 66 Dodge Poly 318; W-200
Great thank you, now to find the bracket. This has turned out to be a costly project because of incorrect machine work on my original heads, sunk the intake valves in to far having to grind off the valve tips. Shop took it for granted that my W- 200 had hydraulic lifters which were used in the 318-3...

Re: 66 Dodge Poly 318; W-200
Thanks for the reply on the alternator bracket. I need to find the bracket your speaking of. Also need to drill and tap a 3/8 NC bore in the head on the boss in the right front exhaust manifold deck, as my new heads are missing it. I've never had the alternator bracket so I don't know if this tapped...

66 Dodge Poly 318; W-200
Hi to all. Replaced my original cylinder heads and had seat and guide work completed on them. I noticed that my original heads had a 3/8 NC threaded hole. This threaded hole is on the side of the head where the exhaust manifold attaches, towards front if on right side of truck or rear if on left sid...

Valve Springs 318 Polyhead
My cylinder heads are at the machine shop, but the valve springs I was sold Melling Part# VS150 have a spring pressure of 180. In the OSM spring pressure should be between 137-150 for both intake and exhaust springs. The free length for the Melling springs is correct at 2" Will they work? I do not w...

Spark Plugs
Replacing my spark plugs in a 1966 Dodge W-200 with 318 poly motor and WWW-3 Strongberg 2 Barrel Carb. What plug do I need to install and what reach of plug 3/8" or 3/4". The parts guy showed me a 3/4" reach plug which I thought was incorrect because my current one's were 3/8" reach Champion J12YC. ...

Which Shop Manual ?
Hello Sweptliners, My W-200 is registered as a 1967 but according to the online registry specifies it as a 1966. It has the small rear window and refrigerator door handles, no back up lights, 318 with WW-3 Strongberg 2 barrel carb and Polly Head engine. My question is the factory shop manual on the ...
