Re: radiator that cools sufficiently
How nasty is the cooling system itself? When's the last time you did a thorough flush to include the block? Have you pulled the plug in the block and cleared any blockage there, which I feel is your problem? What's the condition of your T-stat? When was it last replaced, and with what it's temp rati...

There shouldn't be a x-member, the tranny is mounted by at the top middle of the tranny. Someone did some #@&%$# jerry rigging from what your saying. Sounds like you got your hands full, It should look like this! Good Luck https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/16863...

If the box is bolted to the floor, that's your hold down. Stuff the stuff of your liking around the battery so your happy. There is no inside tie down for it.

Hey, mine's titled as a 69, but the sequence # says it's a 68. I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Master Cylinder Drum Question
If it's stiff going down and have to pull it up there's something not right, you shouldn't have to do that. Is it the same looking M/C? I did mine a few months ago and got lucky that I didn't have to bleed the system. Maybe just loosen the bolts some on the m/c and see what happens, maybe not set ri...

Re: carburetor alternatives
Like the old saying, "You get what ya pay for" plays here. I messed around with a 1 bbl for sooooooooooooo long and got nowhere. Then I found a super 6 manifold and never lloked back after bolting on a Weber 2bbl. You could play around with someone elses headache carb and still get nowhere. I say do...

Re: engine removal on A 108?
If you have access to a lift, you can also pull the front axle assembly and drop the engine from the bottom, IIRC. Both methods of engine removal from a van are a PITA, however! This is what the FSM says, but have heard tons of stories about doing it through the door. One of these years, I'll be do...

A-100 Gastank Venting Problem
Dealing with a 69 A100. I currently have 3/4's of a tank and in hot weather I get gas dripping out the filler neck. Upon removing the cap, the system vents air like the system's pressurized. From everything that I can tell, all is good, but not so. Anybody have any ideas what the cause is and/or rep...

Re: big block
Let's be honest here shall we! If you surf the net for Hot Rod reciepes for a 318, you will find that you can build a junk one to get 400hp for about 3k, I think it was MoparMuscle mag, surf around! With a stroker kit, you can make a 408 from a teen. It alot less hassle doing mods to make a bigger e...

Washer bottle... to the left of the clutch pedal under dash.Bottle clips into a bottle holder then hose down to foot pump ... Ya know. If your push pump for the washers dead, you can jerry rig the standard Mopar electric pump of that era with electic switch if need be. Hint- pumps the same as what ...

When I upgraded to a super 6 on mine, the only thing I could find for a cable long enough was to use a go cart cable. Crude but effective.
